The line staff of Proguard Security Services, Inc. is comprised of highly-trained personnel who have achieved varying levels of expertise in the criminal justice system. Our security officers and security specialists either have backgrounds in law enforcement, security, safety, or criminal justice academia. Additionally, each member of our security staff has gone through an intensive screening and personal interview process. Included in this selection process is a comprehensive employment history and background check. We do not believe in hiring just anyone. Our clients can feel comfortable knowing that we hire qualified and reliable people.

While there is no nationally-mandated level of training required of security officers, Proguard Security Services, Inc. has taken the proactive approach. To ensure quality performance, each security officer is thoroughly trained by management staff at general and specific levels.
The general level of training is aimed at training the security officer in basic strategies of security and assets protection and an orientation of relevant state law.

The specific level of training is geared more toward the individual client's needs. Included in this training is an orientation of the site and particular security needs of the client. In addition, the security officer is trained in handling emergencies at the site, fire and safety procedures, communications, and public relations issues.
